LEADING A FIRM THROUGH INTERESTING TIMES

Managing a law firm has its own advantages and challenges and as the
world is slowly transitioning back to  'normal', adapting to the new way of
working is one thing, yet adjusting to an unprecedented and fluctuating
economic climate, is another.

Even though the New Zealand legal market weathered well during the
worst of the pandemic , signs of this shine dimming could be showing
amidst what is being coined as a ‘legal recession’ from the media. New
uncertainty over inflation, higher interest rates and international conflicts
make leading in this new climate even more tumultuous.

Law firms should be equipping themselves to deal with the ripple effects
of this volatile environment.

It is another game changer and learning resilience to steer through yet
another storm, is not only about the downside risk, but also what needs to
be done to reinvent for the next phase.

Following on from the success of last year's event, the 2nd Legal Leaders
Forum NZ will be an opportunity to come together to learn and share
knowledge and experiences.
